Rikki the little corella cockatoo from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, loves to floss.

Rikki the little corella cockatoo may not have teeth, but she loves to floss! After watching owner Donna Felsing floss for a week, the cockatoo suddenly popped open a box of dental floss and pulled out a strand with her beak.

ALWAYS FLOSS FIRST

After Felsing broke off the string, Rikki pulled it through her beak with her claws. Rikki doesn’t need to be told to perform. “She’ll do anything for attention,” Felsing says—except when the floss is cinnamon-flavored. The cockatoo thinks that taste is for the birds.
