        "transcript": "<p>Beluga whales are known as the canaries of the sea because they have a repertoire of high-pitched sounds they use to communicate with one another.</p><p>They're very social, and frankly, once they start squealing-they just won't shut up.</p><p>Babies start making noises within hours of being born.</p><p>But all the whistling in the world won't do any good, if the baby finds himself beached.</p><p>This pod of belugas has moved into shallow waters.</p><p>It's summertime in the Arctic. Time to molt.</p><p>The baby has become separated from its mother and stranded on the shore.</p><p>He cries out for help. But the pod can do nothing.</p><p>He broils under the hot sun, hoping the returning tide comes...before a polar bear does.</p><p>A tide surge sweeps in and sweeps him out.</p><p>Lesson learned: stay close to mom.</p>",
