RULES
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Open to legal US residents who are between 6-14 years old at the time of entry. Void where prohibited by law. Employees of Sponsor (and members of their immediate family and/or those living in the same of household of each such employee) are not eligible. To enter: Beginning May 14, 2012 at 12:00 a.m. EST, go to http://kids.nationalgeographic.com/kids/activities/new/giveaways/, and, using the link provided, email Sponsor the following information: entrant’s name, age and email address of entrant’s parent or legal guardian. YOU MUST HAVE PERMISSION FROM A PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN TO BE ELIGIBLE TO WIN. For the first ten (10) eligible entries received, Sponsor will email each entrant’s parent or legal guardian to confirm consent and address for delivery of prize. Each entry is eligible to win a prize only if entrant’s parent or legal guardian confirms consent within twenty-four (24) hours after the email request for consent. If a parent or guardian of one or more of the first ten (10) entries fails to email consent within 24 hours, Sponsor will notify the parent(s) or legal guardian(s) of the entrant(s) whose entry(ies) was/were next received. As soon as Sponsor has confirmed parental consent for ten (10) eligible entries, Sponsor will post a notice on kids.nationalgeographic.com/kids/activities/new/giveaways so that all consumers are notified that there is no longer a chance to receive the prize. Each prize consists of one National Geographic Kids National Parks Guide U.S.A. book, with a retail value of $14.95. The first name, age and state of residence of each winner will be posted online when all winners have been confirmed. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received. Limit one (1) entry per person and per email address. Limit one (1) entry per household. Limit one (1) entry per household per six (6) month period. Entries using automatic entry will be disqualified. Entrants agree to be bound by the terms of these rules and by the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding. By participating in this promotion, entrants agree to hold Sponsor and its subsidiaries, affiliates, successors, assigns, officers and employees harmless for any injury or damage caused or claimed to be caused by participation in the promotion or acceptance or use of the prize. Sponsor is not responsible for any printing, typographical, mechanical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the promotion or in the announcement of the prizes.
