Skate Parks in London

On Saturday, I went skateboarding in the skate parks around London. The best one was Bay Sixty6 under the flyover bridge, which is near Camden (around North London). One park, called Stockwell, is really famous and is close to my house.

I won a competition over there a few months ago, but there hasn't been any since... I hope there are some good skate parks in the U.S. In London, people really like skaters--policemen would even encourage us to do some tricks in the streets! It's a shame skate parks cost so much to build. The Stockwell skate park cost about £ 80,000 to rebuild.

Thorpe Park

Photo: Car at the top of water ride

On Friday my best friend celebrated her birthday. We came home from school and we went bowling. I lost but that doesn't matter, we had a great time. We went home stayed the night there and on Saturday morning we went to Thorpe Park, which is one of the biggest attraction parks in England. We  went on all the rides and at the end we did the tidal wave ride.  This ride really gets you wet and we did it twice so we were completely drenched!
