It was really fun over there. The food was great, the wedding was great, and it was a shame we had to leave so soon.
There is a picture of a small stained glass window which says "the teacher Alois Rothlin built this house."
It is in a small village
called Kerns, which is in the center of Switzerland, just about 100
miles from Basel and 20 miles from Luzern.
Here I am in a café in Luzern. They provide blankets rather than outside heaters - more eco-friendly!They speak Swiss-German there. The wedding was in Basel and I took some wedding pictures for my uncle.
Look at all the garden gnomes in Kerns.
In Kerns, their main activity is farming cows and to know where they are they put really noisy bells on them.
