Here I am eating lunch in Spain.
I used to live In France and we ate differently there. You would have breakfast at the same time that you do in the UK, but you would eat French bread (baguette) with butter and jam.
Lunch is still the same as in the UK, but you would eat chicken, lamb, ratbbit, duck, and pork with a variety of vegetables and frites (French fries). You also would have salad and cheese at the end or the beginning of the meal,
Dinner would be on the table at about 8:00 PM or 9:00 PM. You would eat the soup as the starter of the meal, then the leftover's of lunch, and for dessert crêpes (thin pancakes served with jam and sugar, or nutella chocolate spread).
My dad lives in Spain and I was just visiting him recently! In Spain, breakfast would be at about 10:00 AM or 12:00 PM. You wouldn't eat cereal, but instead you would have toast with tomatoes, olive oil, garlic, and Serrano ham. It is very nice!
You would eat lunch at around 3:00 to 4:00 PM. You would eat tapas as a starter. Tapas are a sort of mini portion of a meal . After the Tapas and a drink a typical Spanish drink called Gazpacho. It's a salty, cold soup with tomato juice, garlic, olive oil, cucumber, lemon, and peppers. You would have your meal which can be meat, egg, and potatoes, and then pudding, which is usually all different flavored yummy ice cream. Dinner is served later and around 10:00 PM.
So which meal and country do you guys prefer?
