My Favorite Foods!

Today I am going to tell you what my favorite meals are for breakfast,  lunch and dinner.

I usually have labaneh, olive oil, zaatar and Arabic bread for breakfast. Labenah is made out of plain yogurt, however the zaatar is made out of dried thyme with sesame seeds. You dip the bread in the labaneh with olive oil, and then dip in the zaatar, or you can make it all into a delicious sandwich. Sometimes I have what you guys have, like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, or pancakes!

Here comes lunch my main meal of the day!!

Photo: Mulukhiyya I always have so many different things to eat at lunch but one of my favorites is mulukhiyya. Mulukhiyya is a leaf (known in English as Jews Mallow). It is cooked with garlic, and coriander, and it's kind of like a soup that you eat with rice and chicken, but you can choose if you want it with chicken or without

Photo: Ayat serving mulukhiyyaYou also add small pieces of toasted bread and sometimes you add well chopped onions with vinegar. And believe it or not I just had mulukhiyya today!

Did you know that Jordan's national dish is Mansaf? It is made from rice (mountains of rice), lamb, and a special cooked yogurt called jameed and it is eaten with your hands, I don't really like it but lots of  other Jordanians do.

And for a yummy supper I love to have hummus, bread and falafel. The hummus is a dip made from chick peas. And the falafel is also made out of chick peas with sesame seeds and is made into balls.

I really love all different kinds of foods, like pizza, donuts, fries, and burgers.

I hope you all have your own favorite foods and I have a question for you all, I want to know what is America's, or whatever country you come from, national food?
