In the real world, at least here in South Africa, people are sports-crazy!!! South Africans are big supporters of cricket, rugby, and soccer. The national cricket team is called the Proteas while the national rugby team is called the Springboks, and the soccer team is called Bafana Bafana!In 2010, South Africa is hosting the soccer World Cup and I can't wait! I hope we get to watch some of the matches live!!! (Here I am wearing the Spanish team cap - the national team I support, a FIFA t-shirt and a FIFA medal!!! FIFA is the football or soccer world's governing body, based in Zurich. The World Cup, held every four years, is soccer's biggest event. South Africa is the first African nation to host the World Cup ever!)
Recently, on a lazy Sunday my sister and I decided to play Nintendo Wii and she chose the game Wii sports. We were going to play down list and first up was tennis. It was going to be too difficult to play against each other, so we decided to play in one team against random Miis (little Wii people). It was my serve so I hit my hardest...15-0. Five minutes later 15-40, we lost so we went to another sport.
Baseball, this time we were in different teams, because I was first
player I was up to bat. At the first part I didn't hit anything, so now
I was pitcher. But all I can do is fast ball, and all you can hear from
the referee is: foul, strike, foul, strike, foul, strike player out.
Change sides, and guess what I scored 7 homeruns, woo hoo!!My sister got upset so next we played bowling and all you can hear from my sister scoring is nice strike, nice strike and nice strike. Whereas the only thing you can hear from me is miss, miss, miss, miss. Take a lucky guess who won, yes you heard it, the one, the only, JESSICA!!
Now I got mad so we played a peaceful game of golf, now let me warn you now I am not a good golf player because
a. I am impatient
b. I hit too hard
c. I am left-handed so it is quite a struggle
Well, in the end the score was +20 for me and +14 for my sister, now didn't I warn you I wasn't a good golfer?
Ah hah now a great game for my temper, boxing and can you believe it? It was me then it was her then it was me then it was her and then I gave a hard hit and the next thing you now KO (knock out)!
And that was the end of our sports! Of course we were never actually on a golf course or a boxing ring or a baseball field or a tennis court! Instead we were in the virtual world of Wii!!!
U are so funny and just like me no one plays with me because i hit so hard!! i like doing that isn't it fun!
