On February 13th, I went to Short Track Speed Skating at The Pacific Coliseum.  I watched the Men's 1500m heats, semi-finals, and finals, Ladies' 500m, and the Ladies' 3000m Relay Semi-finals.  All of the races were exciting and fun to watch.  My favorite race was the Ladies' 3000m relay.  In a speed skating relay, instead of passing batons you are supposed to give your teammate a push so they get a powerful boost.  There was a lot of cheering and cowbells ringing in all of the races.

On February 19th, I went to Curling at the Vancouver Olympic Center. I watched the Men's Round Robin Session 6. There was a lot of cheering, but not as much as Short Track Speed Skating, because there were more people, but there were more cowbells ringing. During the round, all of the fans started stomping their feet on the stands to encourage the Canadian team and after we tried to do the wave but it didn't work out so well!

On February 27th, I went to the Figure Skating Exhibition Gala where amazing Olympic skaters perform to fun and classical music. When the skaters were performing, they sometimes held props that matched the music. Their costumes were cool too because they were so different than what they wear for competitions. At some points of the Gala, they had kids or teenagers perform to entertain the audience and to showcase their talents before the Olympic skaters performed.
