Hi, I'm David and I have been living in Beijing, China for a year and a half. I'm 12 years old and am going into the 8th grade this year. I have a brother, Jonathan, who is 15 and is going into the 11th grade this year. I go to an international school in the outskirts of Beijing. I like to play tennis and baseball and games on the computer.
Beijing is a diverse city. If you were to visit me here, I'd take you to the Great Wall, the Forbidden City (where the Emperor used to live), and the Temple of Heaven (where the emperor used to go to pray once a year). For lunch, we could go eat Peking duck and "jiao-zi" which is a Chinese dumpling with all sorts of fillings. Your mom would like to go shopping at the pearl market where they sell cultured pearls for cheap. If we still had time then I'd take you go-karting and to the laser tag place (my two favorite birthday party venues).
Next up--a visit to the Water Cube.

I LOVE TENNIS TOO!!!!! IT'S SOOOO FUN!
Hi,
I'm an American middle school student. I'm doing research on ancient Chinese symbols like dragons or other significant symbols of Chinese culture. Do you know any?
