Hi! Christmas is so soon and I cant wait! I still have to get my Kris Kringle for my Uncle Sasha. (A Kris Kringle is when you get a present and you don't let the person know who it was that gave them the present. It is also called secret Santa. My family does this instead of buying presents for everyone). I am going to Melbourne to spend Christmas with my dad's side of the family.
It is summer and we are wearing singlets, because it gets so hot and I have been going swimming and snorkeling almost every day.

The beach is only a short walk away from my apartment. It is a rocky
beach. We walk along the rocks and jump off the rocky shelf. Today
while snorkelling I saw a male and female blue groper. The male is blue
and female is green. Did you know that blue gropers are all born female
and then some later change into males? As well as snorkeling I like to
look at creatures in the rock pools.
I found these starfish under a
rock. The brittle star is from last year, it's pretty isn't it?
There are sand beaches on either side of the bay and
I swim there sometimes.
Oh! I forgot to tell you we had the
schools annual fun day. Unfortunately, I did not attend
because instead I went to a chess competition and won a fifth place
trophy.
There were about 25 players. School finishes next week and I
will get my school report. Then it will be summer holidays for six
weeks. I will keep you all updated on how cool Sydney is. Bye!

I'm not that great at chess though I dont even get how to play it. Anyways I love that star fish and yes it is very pretty.
