Let's Jump! - National Geographic Kids

Let's Jump! excites kids to live an active, healthy lifestyle. Find out how to get moving and have fun doing it!

Organize an Event

You can plan to host your own event* at your school, community group, or even a sports team! But when planning your event be sure to keep the rules in mind so your jumping jacks will be counted by Guinness!

Rules for Large Groups (100 or more jumpers)
Rules for Mid-Size Groups (50-99 jumpers)
Rules for Small Groups (fewer than 50 jumpers)

If you want to join an event sponsored by another group, find an event from our list of locations. Find out how to get your school to be a Let's Move in School participant.

Schools: Thanks for joining us in the jump! The White House has sent a letter from Mrs. Obama that you can read to your students during morning announcements, assemblies, or before your jumping event. (Please also note the following non-comprehensive list of actions that are expressly prohibited:  alteration of this Message; sale of this Message; and use of this Message for fundraising, recruiting, advertising, solicitation, promotion, or as an endorsement of any individual, entity, organization, or unit of government.  These prohibitions apply in all forms of communication, including, but not limited to electronic, print, and/or display on website.)

*Earn a special certificate if your organization helps break the record with a group of more than 100 people. Follow the rules carefully to qualify.
