Healthy Snacks

Eating healthy snacks along with healthy meals will help you have energy for sports and exploration. It helps to start the day off right with a big bowl of oatmeal. But what should you eat every day and what treats should be only sometimes foods? It's not as hard to figure out as you would think!

-Eat whole grain breads and pasta.

-Load up on fruits and vegetables.

-Grab a handful of nuts for a quick snack that's full of protein.

-Drink water instead of juice or sodas. Your body needs the fluid but not the sugar!!

-Save cookies, cakes, ice cream, sodas, hot dogs, and fried foods for special treats.
