A special thank you to First Lady Michelle Obama, her staff, Al Roker, Michelle Kwan, Cornell McClellan, Ann Curry, and the TODAY show for giving the jump their time and attention!

If you jumped, please make sure your group sends in the required documentation by Oct. 26 to: National Geographic KIDS / Jumping Jacks

Guinness will take our final tally and make the determination on whether we broke the record or not. This could take several months.
In the meantime, become a member of NG Kids My Shot and upload photos of jumping jacks and tag them lets jump and you can receive the Jumping Jack badge.
Keep jumping on your own! It's a great way to exercise your whole body. If you do jumping jacks for one minute each day and then add a few minutes each day, you'll be able run faster, jump higher, and hike farther.
