We have been busy getting the outside of our house ready for winter. Our outdoor furniture is covered, most of our annuals are gone and our tomato and pepper plants are part of the compost pile.
Now we are turning our attention to the indoor plants.
We've given those plants some extra attention, adding soil and repotting some. What's great about indoor plants besides giving you something pretty and green to look at, they also clean the air inside your home or office.
There are plenty of easy-to-care-for plants that are excellent at getting rid of indoor pollutants. Read up on how to care for your low-maintenance houseplant of choice. Then find a nice pot and the perfect spot for it and watch it grow! You can even find one for just for your kids to care for. Kellan has a plant in his bathroom that he likes to water. It's easy because the faucet is right there. Also, keep in mind that some plants are poisonous when swallowed. You may want to avoid those or keep them out of reach of pets and little ones.
