We celebrated Kellan's birthday with a barbeque and pool party over the weekend. It doesn't seem possible that my little one is now four-years old. When did that happen? The cake order got mixed up but in the end, it didn't matter. The substitute cake was pretty tasty.
Even though
Kellan is only four, I'm already feeling like time is passing too quickly. Once
many preschoolers start kindergarten, they are fully immersed the academic
world. It's an exciting step in their lives but it's also another little step
toward independence. It's a bit bittersweet for me. I hope with every year that goes by, my bond with my child stays strong. I'll
always be his first teacher, number one cheerleader, and his biggest fan. But
most importantly I'll always be his mother.
