In Chicago, my Dad has a friend named Greg and he let us stay in his apartment. His apartment is so cool! He has skulls of different animals, rocks of different sizes and colors, and lots of different globes.
The night we were in Chicago with Greg, we went to a
place called
Millennium Park for an outdoor concert with Greg's friends. Millennium
Park also has a huge fountain, called the Crown Fountain, that you can
run around in, which we did plenty of.The next day we drove over to my friend Mitch's house and we spent the night with his family. Mitch is my friend and one of the winners from the first National Geographic Kids "Dare to Explore" expedition to the Galapagos (which is where I met him). Mitch lived in Beijing for a year and he and his family gave us some advice about China, which is useful because we'll be going there. They also told us about some fun things to do in South Dakota, which is our next stop.
Here's a pic of me and Mitch:
So, that wraps up this blog. Tune in next time to hear all about South Dakota.'Till next time ...

Ty,
Glad you had a great time in Chicago. I had a blast showing you around. But you ate ALL OF MY CHEESE!
Enjoy the rest of your trip.
Your friend,
Greg
Hey,Tyler
That must have been awesome to see Chicago. By the take of the picture of Crown Fountain it looks like a lot of fun to go to. If I were to walk into your dads friends house I might mistake it as a nature museum. I can't wait till you write about South Dakota. I hope your having fun!
It sounds great to get to go to so many places. I love Chicago. I went there last summer. It was great. It will be cool to see your next blog.
