Hi, it is me Stefan. In 16 hours I'm going around the world. I am living out of one suitcase and one backpack. Here are some things in my backpack:
- Nintendo DS & lots of games
- NY Mets monkey
- Baseball cards & playing cards
- Tech-decks
- iTouch (so we can watch movies in the car)
- Books
- Camera
- Travel pillow (for all of those long car & plane rides!)
- School supplies
- My journal for the trip
I'm sad that I have to leave my friends for a year. I'm happy that my house was sold because it had been on the market for 6 months. When we get back, I'm going to get a new house and one with a big driveway so that I can get a basketball hoop. I also hope we have a big yard to play baseball in.
I'm so happy that I`m going around the world within the next 16 hours. I'm going to Cape Cod first. We go to Cape Cod every summer -- it's a tradition. My Oma and Opa (that's how you say Grandma and Grandpa in German) are going to miss me for a whole year. They might come to Scotland to meet us. And my Grandma is going to miss me so, so much because she loves me very much, and I'm going to miss her so much too.
For my next blog, I'll let you know how much fun I had in Cape Cod!

It was great to see you again in NYC at the Bon Voyage party for you and your family. I'm looking forward to seeing you when you come to what will be the HIGHLIGHT of your trip.....CHICAGO!! Be warned that you probaby won't want to leave once you are here. And we have polar bears, too.....well, at the zoo at least.

I dont know you and I think you dont know me but I just hope you the best trip and you are very lucky to do this trip. By the way I travel alot myself too but not as much as you! By the way I know I am sending this late.
P.S. I know how sad you fell to go on a year trip.{like ever I went on a year trip, but I tried to get my parents to do it.}
