Parvaz, which launched in Afghanistan in August 2002, is the first full-color magazine for Dari- and Pashto-speaking girls and boys ages seven through 14. The magazine features artwork and photographs to encourage creativity and freedom of expression. The Farsi word for "flight," Parvaz is all about seeing things differently and letting imaginations fly.
This March/April 2003 issue is about spring and its celebration (Nowruz) in different countries like Iran. |
